The Toy Book is now accepting editorial submissions for its 2026/27 issue slate. We are seeking new toys, games, and adjacent products across all categories for potential print and online showcases.

  • OH BABY!: Infant and Toddler Toys, Games, and Gear for kids ages 0-2

  • LET’S PLAY OUTSIDE: Outdoor & Active Toys, including Sports Toys, Blasters, Water Toys, Pool Toys, Sand & Water Tables, Swingsets, Playhouses, Trampolines, etc.

  • PLAYFUL PRESCHOOL: Toys and games geared toward kids ages 3-4

  • NEW TECH: Games, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented reality (AR), AI, Video Games, and New Technologies

  • ADORABLE, FASHIONABLE, & ADVENTUROUS: Dolls, including Baby Dolls, Fashion Dolls, 18-inch dolls, Equestrian, etc.

  • RIDE, SCOOT, SKATE, & DRIVE: Ride-ons & Wheels, including battery-powered vehicles, scooters, skateboards, drift trikes, kid-powered ride-ons, big wheels, etc.

  • YOU’RE NEVER TOO OLD TO PLAY: Products designed for the adult collector “kidult” audience ages 15+

  • IMPULSE & NOVELTIES: Impulse and novelty items, rack toys, and pocket money toys

  • TOY ADJACENT: Products carried in a toy store, gift shop, or hobby shop that may complement an existing toy and game assortment while not being a “toy,” specifically.

  • Freaky Fun: Horror, spooky, etc.

  • Animazing: Anime-inspired (May)

  • Automotive & Motorsports (May)

  • Video Game-inspired (May)

  • Costumes & Characters: Licensed costumes

  • Pets: Licensed toy products for pets — real pets (dogs, cats, etc.)

  • Halloween: Tricks, Treats, & Toys

  • Holidays: Festive Finds (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc.)

  • Made in USA

  • What’s Hot in Licensed Toys & Games (May)

  • Specialty Toys & Gifts: What’s Hot (June)

  • 2027 Preview (September)

  • Hot for Holiday ‘26 (September)

If you'd like us to consider anything new for 2026, please submit:

  • Product name

  • Company name

  • Description (25-150 words)

  • MSRP

  • Retail availability (List all available retailers + include any online links)

  • Release date/season (example: May 15, 2026 or Summer 2026)

  • High-res image (300 dpi, jpg or png preferred) (provide product and lifestyle imagery if available)

  • Embargo timing (if necessary)

PLEASE NOTE:

  • This is a free editorial opportunity. There are no fees. Submitting does not guarantee coverage.

  • You may submit products in multiple categories.

  • You may submit as many products as you like, but we will likely feature no more than 2-3 (although it's always a good idea to give us lots of options).

  • The Toy Book editorial team may, at its discretion, recategorize products.
